November 24, 2009 Aernout Hello there and thanks for all the work in this thread. this has been driving me crazy. To KB: my turned off monitor did not have “Extend my Windows desktop on to this device” checked. note: Connect the computer to a working monitor to perform these steps.
If you do not hear noise from the fans and the power lights on the computer are not on, the problem is related to the computer, not the monitor. People should also try right clicking on the Start taskbar and choosing Cascade Windows… worked on most situations. Is it changed now with the last version???
