There should be a function that shows 'Hi-Speed' If that is enabled, then we look at software and do a port by port device plug in test. The other thing that you can try is to go to the control panel, select Sytem, select hardware click on Device manager and scroll to Universal serial bus controller and Right If so, get one of those and try that.
