I too got the “Locate link browser” pop-up when I tried to open a link in an email. Here are the step that microsft sent me: 1.Completely uninstall MSoffice from Add/Remove programs 2.Backup the registry. 3.Browse to this registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/office 4.Rename the office folder 5.Browse to the registry This did it for me, keep in mind if you are running an old database that uses Axess 97 it will no longer work. When I clicked on the Do it for me link, it started working. Open Windows Explorer 2. Uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office yesterday and all was ok again. check over here Fingers crossed!

Bucket's fix allowed IE to go to the actual link instead of the homepage. The one fix breaks on the & in the url - the second fix should work with it.
Yet a third thing to check, and probably the culprit, are 3rd party TOOLBARS that you have installed. Now all outlook web links open to my explorer home page and not to the target of the link. <-- THIS IS THE ISSUE to be solved.
