What a pain. news But when I go through contacts and look at the list they are not there! Locate the distribution list and then click Recover Selected Items . Once deleted, the only way to recover the list is from the Deleted Items folder, just like any other deleted item.

For those of you that might still stumble on this, you can just open the old list, and rename it.... Recover a distribution list If you accidentally delete a distribution list, go directly to your Deleted Items folder; the distribution list should still be there. I guess I thought that everybody did it that way! :0
When we go backinto the Select Names Contact and click on the DL to insert into the TO: line, all we get is a row of semi-colons. I have one user (out of 400+) who is having a problem creating a DL. If you are using a home or personal account, the list will be permanently deleted once you empty the Deleted Items folder or when you close Outlook. I don't know where else to look. Drag the distribution list from Contacts into the message body. Thread Status: Not open for further replies.
