When I booted up I would get to the desktop screen, but there were no icons. thanks a lots for this help.... A CCM membership gives you access to additional options. For anyone having this issue and if you have already tried the control alt delete approach try right clicking on your desktop and make sure the show desktop icons is selected.

In there I had an explorer.exe folder that I deleted (you may have an entry in the root of the Image File folder as well.. I would appreciate any help that can be provided. Why is x**4.0 faster than x**4?
